Hi folks,
I recently spoke with people in the automotive industry and learned the
rumour that MISRA is working on a new C++ guideline. I have seen what
AUTOSAR is up to and the rumour is, that this should be passed on to
MISRA for publication/refinement.
However, IMHO MISRA did a very bad service wrt modern C++ in their 2008
guideline and I would like to help them to avoid such a backward
oriented guideline for a new revision.
Are there any MISRA members on WG21, esp. in SG12? If so and you are in
Toronto, I'd appreciate a chat, otherwise an email.
Regards
Peter.
